Música hecha en colaboración con la empresa New Flight Generation, especialistas en vuelos con dron y sus aplicaciones a diferentes ámbitos, en este caso en formato mini-documental y del deporte, enseñando la escalada desde otro punto de vista.
The Festival Flors i Violes Palafrugell commissions a mapping that shows a year’s life in the city: the jazz festival, the marathon to fight cancer, the famous “havaneres”… Music had to reflect the differnt animated sections of the mapping, made by GROC Studio.

Finally a mix between two audio proposals was made, the result is HERE.
The company SONA, that rents sound equipment, premiers a new website and wants a little video with music that reflects the two kind of events that they work on: companies and live concerts. The visual proposal, made by GROC Studio, mixed these two worlds: the elegant, sofisticated, congress-like, inaugurations and events, and another one referring to concerts, live music and summer festivals. These two worlds had to have their own musical identity as well, and being able to join them together at the end.
Without composing a jingle, we had to manage more ambient than melodies, but with these two visions and personalities, and integrate both in the same tune. All of that coordinated with the image in movement, already sketched by GROC Studio, adapting the musical textures to the visuals and giving them sound form and sense. The sfx include sound of seawaves acompanning the soundwaves, to give the impression of summer, surfing through sound, and the musical elements are slowly coming in together with the colors without losing the sonority of the elegant ambient from the beginning.

There were few guidelines to compose this jingle, that would be played as an introduction to speaker Sergi Torres’ videos: some words -“zen, minimal and simple”-, the moving logo and the front image at the website, so we could summon musically what they wanted to communicate. We decided to have very simple oval accompaniment and a melodic instrument, clarinet.

Música i gravació de veu en off pel documental creat amb motiu de la concesió de la Medalla del Montgrí 2018 a Dolors Bassa. L’Ajuntament de Torroella de Montgrí va encarregar un documental a la directora Nagore Pardo, ja que la receptora de la Medalla no va poder recollir-la degut al seu empresonament. En aquest documental es mostra la trajectoria política i personal de la Dolors Bassa, així com la seva relació amb Torroella de Montgrí.

Aquesta és una col·laboració amb GROC Studio per a l’empresa KiN in Nature. Hem posat música original i els efectes de so a l’animació. El client volia que la música expliqués el procés de la protagonista i anés creixent d’intensitat i emoció a mesura que el seu projecte l’ajuda a estar millor amb l’entorn i a la seva feina.
El client també tenia en ment una sonoritat molt específica, que transmetés l’aventura i el canvi cap a un ambient exòtic i de treball en equip. A part d’instruments de software per fer la música, vem gravar i incorporar ukelele acústic.
Sonar Beat is the first videogame from independent studio Life Zero Games, for which we’ve composed the soundtrack. This task has been quite challenging, because it’s a musical puzzle. Sonar Beat is based completely on the music and, while it is played, its non-linear (but round!) perspective makes it unique. Composition-wise we had quite a few restrictions, as number of bars, lenght of notes or different complex rythms, among other parametres, since all the music affects gameplay.
We were working intensely with the developers and programmers from Life Zero, so we could all adjust as much as possible all the musical details, that sometimes were changing, because of development of the game but also musical needs. All audio tracks were translated into MIDI and applied one by one to the level where they belonged, so the program could analyzed them independently and give the game the possibility of swapping instrument or melodic line.
Sonar Beat is out on Steam for PC and iOS, mobiles and tablets, and soundtrack can be found at iTunes and Spotify.
